Can you name five major companies where social media is the cornerstone of their marketing (outside of customer support)? I accept that marketing is a wider field than just sales, but most brands/retailers I know accept that whilst social has its place, it is not a core driver of sales volume. Views?

  2. Firstly, what a great infographic and what an unbelievable year it was – it makes me feel ALIVE. Andy Brown, I agree, so many brands/retailers are yet to embrace social. Perhaps Infographics like this one is the start of all that. To be fair, it is such a complex and often fragmented area – let’s hope this changes .. and fast. 2014 is the year.
